Tablecloths sold on this site are GROSS sizes of the tablecloth and not the
size of the table, your table should be smaller than the tablecloth size to
allow for table skirting.

History, Yes the Tablecloth does have a lot of history!
Note:
Most all of our polyester materials are mercerized - a process that
helps soften the fibers, giving the fabric greater luster and strength -
yet, we don't Sanforize our sheets (a process designed to help reduce
shrinkage), preferring instead to cut our fabrics generously to allow for
shrinkage.
There is normally a 2"
difference in the tablecloth size. This is due to the different stages of washing, dying, embroidering
and printing. When the cloth is completed the NET size may be off by 2
inches.
So a 72X90" cloth will be NET 70X88". This is
normal for all embroidered tablecloths. To get more information about why
this happens click on the link above.
Know your table size : If your table measures 60 inches width by 90 inches
length (60X90) than you would need a tablecloth size of 72 inches width by
108 inches length (72X108"OB) or larger. If you have a round table 60"ROUND
you will need a tablecloth size of 72X72"RD or larger (90X90"RD) It all
depends
on how long you want your skirting to be.
All tablecloths sold include napkins, the number of napkins that
included depend on the size of your tablecloth. If
there is a tablecloth that you like and is not available in the size you
need, simply select the tablecloth and then click on "Request a custom
size"
